The community consists of four sisters twoare teaching in the school and two are running the dispensary. The sisters have all the necessary spiritual exercises in the community and faithfully being followed. On 7th of June, a small house was blessed and the new station was erected in Shngimawlien – Nongstoin diocese of Meghalaya. The people of the area are extremely generous to provide everything for our sisters and are very caring. Here we, the Benedictine Sisters of St.Lioba give education and faith formation for the young, imparting healing to the suffering, and holistic health education for the integral development of rural girls, particularly the tribal.
